Shipping Policy

All orders are processed and dispatched within 24 hours of order confirmation on business days (Monday–Friday, excluding US federal holidays).

• Orders placed before 2:00 PM PST on a business day are typically dispatched the same day
• Orders placed after 2:00 PM PST or on weekends will be dispatched the next business day
• Custom-engineered products (custom PDC bits, hole openers) may require additional lead time — estimated at the time of quote
• You will receive an order confirmation email immediately after purchase and a shipping confirmation with tracking details once your order is dispatched

We ship to all 50 US states via reputable carriers including UPS, FedEx, and freight carriers for larger shipments.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of your order. Free shipping thresholds may apply for qualifying orders — check our current promotions for details.

VBM Drill Bits ships internationally to customers across North America, Australia, the Middle East, India, and other regions. International orders are handled through trusted freight partners and international couriers.

International shipping rates and transit times are estimated and may vary due to customs clearance, local carrier delays, or other factors outside our control. For large international orders, we recommend requesting a freight quote by contacting our sales team directly.

Bulk orders, heavy items (tricone bits, DTH hammers, bit thirds), and large-volume purchases are typically shipped via LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) freight carriers.

• Freight shipments will be arranged with a reputable LTL carrier and coordinated directly with you for delivery scheduling
• A delivery appointment may be required — our team will contact you to arrange this before dispatch
• Please ensure a loading dock or forklift is available at the delivery address for large pallet shipments
• Liftgate service is available upon request and may incur an additional charge
• All freight shipments are fully insured up to $100,000

All shipments from VBM Drill Bits are covered by freight insurance up to $100,000 per shipment. This coverage protects against loss, theft, and damage during transit.

• Insurance is automatically included on all orders at no additional cost to the customer
• In the event of a claim, please notify us within 48 hours of receiving a damaged or incomplete shipment
• Photographic evidence of packaging and item damage will be required to process a claim
• Claims will be resolved within 5–10 business days of receiving complete documentation

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number and a direct link to the carrier's tracking page.

• Tracking information is typically updated within 2–4 hours of dispatch
• You can also log in to your account at vbmdrillbits.com to view order status and tracking details
• For freight shipments, a PRO number will be provided in place of a standard tracking number
• If you have not received tracking information within 24 hours of your expected dispatch date, please contact us

We take great care in packaging all orders to withstand the rigours of industrial shipping. In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged or goes missing in transit, please follow the steps below:

• Damaged items: Inspect your delivery at the time of receipt. If damage is visible, note it on the carrier's delivery receipt before signing. Take photos of the outer packaging and the damaged item(s) and contact us within 48 hours at sales@vbmdrillbits.com
• Lost shipments: If your tracking shows no movement for 5+ business days or your order is marked delivered but not received, contact us immediately so we can initiate a carrier trace and insurance claim
• Replacement items or refunds will be processed after the claim investigation is complete

For international shipments, your order may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, and brokerage fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in the product price or shipping cost quoted at checkout.

• VBM Drill Bits declares the full and accurate value of all shipments on customs documentation as required by law
• We are unable to mark shipments as "gifts" or under-declare values
• Customs clearance timelines vary by country and are outside our control
• We recommend consulting your local customs authority or freight broker for an estimate of applicable duties before placing a large international order

If you need to change a shipping address or modify your order after it has been placed, please contact us as soon as possible.

• Address changes and order modifications can be accommodated if the order has not yet been dispatched
• Once an order has been handed to the carrier, address changes may not be possible or may incur an address correction fee charged by the carrier
